This privacy policy is intended to inform you of how Tecnibo Belgium SA and Tecnibo Lux SA (together referred to as "Tecnibo", "we") collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you visit the website www.tecnibo.com or interact with us in the course of our business activities.

Tecnibo is a group specialised in the design, manufacturing and installation of demountable partitions, doors and bespoke interior fittings for offices, active since 1977 in the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.

All processing operations described below are carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR") and applicable national legislation.

Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Transfers of data outside the European Union

Part of our shared services is provided by our subsidiary Tecnibo Morocco SARL (Morocco), which acts as a processor for accounting, IT and catalogue support. Morocco does not benefit from an adequacy decision from the European Commission.

To frame this transfer outside the EU in accordance with Article 46 GDPR, we have concluded with Tecnibo Morocco SARL an intra-group agreement based on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, supplemented by additional technical and organisational measures (encryption, access controls, logging).

For Google services, any transfers to the United States are framed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), recognised by adequacy decision of 10 July 2023.

8. Retention period

After these periods, your data is irreversibly deleted or anonymised.

9. Your rights

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Right of access — obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and a copy thereof
  • Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request the deletion of your data in the cases provided for by the GDPR
  • Right to restriction of processing — temporarily freeze the use of your data
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest or used for direct marketing
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal

To exercise these rights, write to privacy@tecnibo.com specifying your request and attaching a copy of an identity document (which will be destroyed after verification). We will reply within the one-month period provided by the GDPR.

If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulation, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority:

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your data:

  • Hosting on our own servers located at the head office of Tecnibo Belgium SA in Belgium
  • Encryption of communications (TLS/HTTPS) and encryption of data at rest
  • Strong authentication for access to our internal systems
  • Strict access rights management based on the least privilege principle
  • Regular backups and continuity plan
  • Training and awareness-raising of our employees on data protection
